Edna Earle Grace

Edna Earle Grace, 80, of Willow Park, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Annetta Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Grace was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Plainview, Texas. She was a retired administrative assistant at American Life, former city secretary for the city of Willow Park from 1966-1971, a graduate of Lipan High School where she was valedictorian, played basketball at Weatherford College and was a Baptist. Edna loved working in her yard, she loved her rose gardens. She loved traveling especially to the coast, mountains and Big Bend. Edna loved her family and loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Grace, of Willow Park; daughters, Glennetta Barnett, of Fort Worth, and Melody Wilson and husband, Terry, of North Richland Hills; sons, Mike Grace and wife, Ann, of Brock; and Dirk Grace and wife, Sheryl, of Bridgeport, Texas; brother, John Christianson, of Bakersfield, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Grace is preceded in death by a son, Nickie Sparkman.
