Melinda Odom, 49, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Melinda was born Oct. 6, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Bobby and Nadine Odom. She was a certified nursing aid.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Melinda is survived by her son, Matthew Whitworth; companion, Mike Murphy; parents, Nadine and Charlie Richardson; sisters, Theresa Bankston and her husband, Kevin, Joyce Pritchett and her husband, Clay; brothers, Charlie Richardson III and wife, Sarah, and Bobby Dean Odom; and numerous extended family.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at East Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
