WEATHERFORD —
Mrs. Eddrie Maylee Preas, 95, of Fort Worth, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 in a Fort Worth Hospital.
Mrs. Preas was born in Delta County, Texas on June 27, 1917, the daughter of Charlie Edward Stunkard and Bessie Inez Voorhes Stunkard. She married Benjamin A. Preas on Nov. 25, 1939 and he preceded her in death on May 31, 1996. She was a retired certified nurses’ aide. She had lived in the White Settlement area for many years and was a member of the Berean Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Beth Young of Weatherford, Ginger Ann Thompson of Fort Worth and Sandra Kay Millar of Odessa; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Cooper, Texas. Russell Woolbright and Buddy Woolbright will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of the Delta Funeral Home.
