BROCK – Betty Thomas, 71, of Brock, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012.
Service is 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Rev. Glenn Jones of First United Methodist Church-Weatherford will officiate. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Betty graduated from Arlington High School. She later earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. She met and married Fred Thomas in August of 1960. She was a master gardener in Parker County. She worked at Carter Blood Care for over 20 years. She will be missed.
She is survived by son Damon Thomas and wife, Teresa, of Granbury; four grandchildren, Sean Thomas and wife, Shannon, Patrick Thomas and wife, Sarah, Kendra Stephenson and husband, James, and Brandon Taylor and wife, Michelle; six great-grandchildren: Lanee, Carley, Cooper, Reese, Kaselyn and Wyatt; the anticipated arrival of a great-grandson; and numerous other family members and friends.
