Wyman Roscoe Pearson

Wyman Roscoe Pearson, 85, a native of Weatherford, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Weatherford Regional Medical Center.

Service is 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at South Main Church of Christ. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Wyman was a retired dairy farmer in the Dicey community and a member of South Main Church of Christ. Wyman served on the board of directors at Tri-County Electric Coop for 43 years.

He is survived by one brother, Charles Noel Pearson, of Weatherford; sister, Judy Welsh, of Granbury; sons, B.G Pearson and wife, Pam, of Weatherford, and Lynn Pearson, of Weatherford; daughter, Joy Ray, of Millsap; grandchildren include Monica Tidwell and husband, Marcus, Stephanie Wynne and husband, Cody, Mark Graves, Tricia Ray, of Millsap, Austin Pearson, Megan Pearson, Kalla Pearson, Roscoe Pearson; great-grandchildren, Addison and Reed Tidwell, and Ty Wynne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wyman was preceded in death by wife of 46 years, Joy Sims Pearson; parents, Austin and Julia Pearson; brother, James Pearson; sisters, Melverne Bedinger and Patsy Wilson; son-in-law, Richard Ray; and daughter-in-law, Amanda Pearson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Millsap Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
