Beatrice Neel White

WEATHERFORD — Beatrice Neel White, better known as “Bea” by those who knew and loved her, entered into the care of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.  Beatrice was born to Edgar and Elizabeth Neel in Krum, Texas on Aug. 3, 1915. She married Joe T. White and was blessed with two children, Arline Russell of Weatherford and Melvin Ray White, who preceded her in death. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend with a surprising humorous wit that always brought laughter and smiles. Hard work and diligence were constant in her life, as was her faith and church worship. Her family often referred to her as the rock that bound them together and an angel to their heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. White; parents, Edgar and Elizabeth Neel; and three brothers, Emmet, Earnest and Alvin Neel.

Beatrice leaves behind her daughter, Arline Russell of Weatherford; eight grandchildren and 26 precious great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Dotson of Leonard, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas, with Mr. John Herington officiating.
