Frances LaVerne Linville, 83, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Weatherford.
LaVerne was born July 10, 1928, in Agnes, Texas to Roy and Mattie Bedford. She married Donald M. Linville on March 11, 1950. LaVerne was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and lived in Weatherford most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her brother, Everett Bedford.
LaVerne is survived by her son, Gary Linville and his wife, Paula; daughter, Trobie Walls and her husband, Robert; sister, Jo Sneed and her husband, James, all of Weatherford; brother, Jack Bedford and his wife, Barbara, of Corinth; four grandchildren, Carrie Plowman, Melanie Bushnell, Brandon Linville, Breanna Walls and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 9, in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with a gift to the Weatherford Animal Shelter, 403 Hickory Lane, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
