Jennie Jewel Faulkner

Jennie Jewel Faulkner, 93, of Weatherford, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in a local nursing center.

Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Faulkner was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Oklahoma. She worked as an LVN in the nursery at Campbell Memorial Hospital, now Weatherford Regional Medical Center, for 40 years and attended Hilltop Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter in law, Jackie Garrett, sister in law, Ruby Peacock, grandchildren, Travis Faulkner and wife Kim of Brock, Tracy Massie and husband Brad of Brock, Ernie Enax of Keller, great grandchildren, Troy, Trent and Trace Faulkner, Ethan, Nathaniel and Korey Massie, Caleigh and Shaleigh Enax.

Mrs. Faulkner is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Anna Peacock, husband, Houston Faulkner, daughter, Carol Jean Faulkner, son, Troy Faulkner, brothers, C.H. Peacock, Johnny Peacock, Robert Peacock and Buster Peacock.
