WEATHERFORD —
E. Mae Walden, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.
Mae was born June 24, 1936 to Roland W. and Bertha Mae Nelson Dale.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Arnie Walden; brothers, Tommy and Ricky Dale; granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Jacobs; and stepson, Jody Walden.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Simmons, Paula and husband Jessie Meason; grandsons, Zac Jacobs, Casey Jacobs and Reed Meason; granddaugh-ters, Jessica Meason and Melissa Jacobs; great grandchildren, Celeste and Cadence Hope Jacobs; sisters, Donna Grimes, Brenda Wood, Glenda and husband Charles Roberson; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the DFW National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Christian Appalachian Project.
