MESQUITE – JoAnn Tennyson, 76, of Mesquite, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Dallas.

Graveside service is 3 p.m. Friday, March 15, in the Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in San Angelo, Texas, a resident of Weatherford before moving to Mesquite. She was a homemaker, retired secretary and cashier and member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Davis, of Dallas; son, David Dwayne Tennyson, of Granbury; grandchildren, Matt, Deanna, Mike, Johnny Jr. and Maurice; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Loyce Sharpe; brother, Spencer M. Wood; niece, Sabrina Savage, and nephew, Tony Way.
