Maxine B. Gasaway

Maxine B. Gasaway, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.

Service is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee, Okla. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.

She was born May 29, 1925, to John Butts and Rosalee (Herrin) Butts in Asher, Okla.

Survivors include her son, John Berry Gasaway and wife, Katie Mills-Gasaway, of Weatherford; and two grandchildren, Nolan and Aaron Gasaway.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Levi Gasaway; stepfather, Doc Haworth; brothers, J.C. and Virgil Butts; and sisters, Mary Hall, Vivian McCurley and June Myers.
