ABILENE – Windell A. “Andy” Hicks, 52, died Jan. 19, 2013, in Abilene.
Service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Wingrove officiating. Burial will be at Clearfork Cemetery in Lueders. Services are under the direction of Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Bryan Hicks, Mike Gonzales, Jamie Thompson, Michael Thomasson, Brad Foster, Windell and Piner Thomasson Jr.. Honorary pallbearers are Lane Hicks and Gene Hicks.
He was born April 15, 1961, in Anson, a son of Gayle and Mary Anretta (Thomasson) Hicks. He was a truck driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his parents, Gayle and Mary Anretta Hicks; a brother, Travis Hicks and wife, Tonya; a sister, Yvonne Gonzales and husband, Mike; nephews, Bryan Hicks, Lane Hicks and Gene Hicks; uncle, Piner Thomasson; aunt, Jan Dillard; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Andy was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and a brother, Eugene Hicks.
