WEATHERFORD —
Dories Diana Barker, 61, of Gordon, passed away on Sept. 15, 2012 in a Stephenville, Texas hospital.
She was born on July 11, 1951 in San Angelo, TX to Jack and Jannie Mirl Jones Downing. She married David M. Barker on May 19, 1972 in Weatherford. She was a retired floral designer. Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her mother, Jannie Mirl Downing, in April, 2011.
Survivors include her husband, David M. Barker of Gordon; son, C.D. Barker and wife Tracy of Weatherford; dad, Jack Downing; sisters, Kay Clepper and husband Ray, Judy Walker and husband Herbie, Rita Beauchamp and Ann Crawford; several nieces and nephews; and a grandchild, Cooper Barker.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at New Gordon Cemetery in Gordon, Texas, with her son C. D. Barker officiating.
