Chad Lee Posey, 29, of Great Falls, Mont., formerly of Weatherford and Big Spring, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, in Montana.
Chad was born April 15, 1983, in Big Spring, Texas. The Posey family moved to Weatherford, Texas, in 1984, where Chad attended schools and graduated as a Texas Honor Student in 2001. Chad always had a beautiful smile and lived life helping others. He joined the United States Air Force in 2004 traveling from San Antonio, Texas, Leatherwood, Mo., Germany, Phoenix, Arizona and Great Falls, Mont. He touched many lives and made many friends during his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vivian Rush and uncle, Mike Matthews.
He is survived by his wife, Cassie; son, Max; and daughter, Hope of Great Falls, Mont.; his parents, Benton and Sandy Posey; sister, Stacy and niece, Addison of Big Spring; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss his big smile and loving heart.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at Life Church, Big Spring, with Clint Collins, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
