Her parents, Norman and Adele McCarty, preceded Doris in death.

The family wishes to thank Doris’ longtime caregiver, Gloria Mcghie, Cora Smith and the staff at The Gardens of Richardson, who helped take care of our mother as if she were their own. The family would like to thank Hospice Plus and Accappella Home Health Care  for their loving care during these last months, to Dr. Boppana and to Mr. John Dvork for his caring visits and flowers each week during her extended illness. We are forever grateful to you all and, if able, our mother would take care of your family in the same compassionate way. She will return the favor from her resting place in Heaven.
