Kerri Diane Springfield

SPRINGTOWN — Kerri Diane Springfield, 41, went to walk with Jesus on Saturday, March 2, 2013.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Springtown Church of Christ.

Burial is at Jay Bird Cemetery, immediately following service.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m., Monday at Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home, Springtown.

Kerri was born at the Weatherford Hospital on April 25, 1971, to David Eugene Springfield and Coleta Faye Cariker Springfield. She came into this world fighting to stay alive, and continued to fight until Jesus took her hand and led her home.

Kerri is preceded in death by her mother, Coleta Faye Cariker Springfield; and grandparents, Helon and Madeline Springfield and Bill and Phyllis Cariker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father, David Springfield; sisters, Sandy Herring and husband, Robert, Sumyr McFarland and husband, Gerald, Heather Bland and husband, Toby, Kristen Gronvall and husband, Rasmus, and youngest sister Aimee Springfield; brothers, Jeremy Chance Springfield and wife, Melissa, and youngest brother, Jesse Springfield; loving companion, Earl Blanchard; lifetime friends, Brenda Holmes, Uedell Starr and Karri O’Connor; moms, Lyni Weaver and Debbie Courtney; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members. 

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Kerri’s name to the Texas Scottish Rites Hospital, 2222 Welborn St. Dallas, 75219 or by phone, 214-599-7650.
