WEATHERFORD —
John Joseph Lyons, age 81, of Weatherford, died Friday morning, Nov. 16, 2012, in a local nursing facility. Born April 19, 1931 in New York City, he was a resident of Weatherford for several years. He retired from construction, was an Army veteran and he loved his kids, grandkids and dogs.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimari Somahkawahho, of Mineral Wells; sons, David Bell and wife, Lezley, of Kennedale, Andy Bell and wife, Dottie, of Mineral Wells, Adam Hyatt of Weatherford and Jonathan Lyons of Mineral Wells; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
