— Ralph Duwayne Guiles, 61, died at his home in Weatherford on Dec. 19, 2012.
A memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at his home. His remains will be buried at Long Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
He was born Nov. 16, 1951, to Ralph Maurice and Elizabeth Guiles in Weatherford. Ralph was the grandson of Ralph and Madge Guiles and Alfred and Jessie Young. He attended Weatherford High School until April 1969. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was wounded. Ralph received the Purple Heart for his service.
He leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth Tipton, of Weatherford; daughter, Amy Ingram and husband, Rob, of Paradise; mother of his daughter, Brenda Guiles Allen, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Nash, Kimber and Beau Ingram, all of Paradise; sisters, Marcia Chrane, of Fort Worth, Tricia Greenwood, of Azle, Carol Webb, of Weatherford, and Suzan Singleton, of Terrell; step-brothers, Terry Tipton, of Lucerne Valley, Calif., and Phillip Tipton, of Kingsland, Ga.; step-sisters, Cecilia Stiles, of Kingman, Ariz., and Cora Stokes, of North Bend, Wash.; girlfriend, Suzanne Greene, of Weatherford; uncle, Derrell Guiles ,of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
