WEATHERFORD – Larry A. Darnell, 63, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at home surrounded by his family.
Service is 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave.
Larry was born Jan. 21, 1950, to Lowell and June McClemore Darnell at Carswell AFB in Fort Worth. He graduated from Lake Worth High School and attended Tarrant County Junior College. Larry honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.
He married Jackie Bibb on July 11, 1994, and they began their life together. Larry loved his family and his grandchildren were his life.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Jackie, of Weatherford; daughters, Tammy Nelson and Sheila Darnell; stepdaughter, Marie Danagher; stepson, Michel Newcomb; grandchildren, Angel Nelson, Katy Nelson, Molly Danagher, Triston Hill, Dustin Hill and Morgan Danagher; and sister, Stella Upton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Ron Darnell.
