Geneva Dixon, 90, a longtime resident of Parker County, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, surrounded by family in Weatherford.
Service is 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment will be in Annetta Cemetery.
Geneva Haddock Dixon was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Roscoe, daughter of the late Roy and Ava Waddle Haddock. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, wife, and MeMaw. Geneva was an avid reader, loved the outdoors and baking.
Survivors include a son, Doyle Dixon and wife, Laura, of Benbrook; daughter, Connie Towles and husband, Ron, of Mansfield; grandchildren, Monica, Doug, Becky and Jason; great-grandchildren, Touse, Harper, Sydnie, and Rylee; and a host of loving friends and acquaintances.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dixon; her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
