Doris Evelyn Boone, 79, died Friday, March 8, 2013, in Weatherford.
She was born on April 22, 1933, to Austin and Josephine Cozart in Breckenridge, Texas. Doris was a resident of Weatherford and member at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Service is 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Boone, of Allen, Connie Denton and husband, John, of Payton, Ariz., and Sherri Botello, of Granbury; sons, Mark Boone and wife, Donna, of Hudson Oaks and Danny Boone, of Granbury; grandchildren, John Denton, Ashley Graham, Ryan Boone, Kelli Boone, Trey Boone and Zach Boone; great-grandchildren: JP Denton, Hanah Denton, Mallory Boone, Eloise Boone and Eli Graham; sister, Dorothy Glover, of Mineral Wells; brothers, Durwood Cozart and wife, Dorothy, of Belton, and Curtis Cozart and Carlene, of Ranger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Josephine; husband, John Turner Boone; son, Johnny Dale Boone; and brother, Charles Witherspoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Emmanuel Baptist Church building fund.
