June Moore Shurtleff

June Moore Shurtleff, 81, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at her home.

Graveside service is 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Laurel Land Memorial Park with Father Jay Atwood of Saint Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church of Willow Park officiating. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Fort Worth.

June was born to Ernest and Ruth Moore in Dallas on June 15, 1931. She graduated from Graford High School. June helped start the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Burleson. She worked for Shurtleff Builders with her husband, Joe Shurtleff.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Shurtleff; sister-in-law, Frances Coles; brother-in-law, Charles Brice; nephew-in-law, Joey Coles, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Shurtleff; and her sister, Betty Brice.
