Juanita Lynn “Nita” Sims, age 63, of Decatur, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in a Weatherford hospital.
A memorial service was held Monday, February 18, 2013.
Mrs. Sims was born Aug. 10, 1949, in Gainesville, Texas. She was a special education teacher and loved working with the children. Nita loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, gardening and her pets.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her daughters, Kathy Chamlee and husband, James, of Reston, VA, and Sally Snowden and husband, Jacob, of Decatur; son, Billy Sims and wife, Samantha, of Azle; mother, Virginia Hoggins, of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Zack, Thomas and Katelynn; and sisters, Ginger, Debbie and Genna.
