WEATHERFORD —
Judy Winstead, 68, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Weatherford, Texas.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1944, to C. V. (Jack) and Margaret Rhoten in Fort Worth, Texas. Judy graduated from Weatherford High School in 1962 and attended North Texas State University. She worked at Mutual Building and Loan for 17 years and retired from Weatherford College in 2010, after 19 years of service.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, C. V. (Jack) and Margaret Rhoten.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Winstead; daughter, Dena Dawson and granddaughter, Julia Dawson of Houston; sisters, Carolyn Glenn and husband, Bob of Weatherford, Jackie Rhoten of Azle; brother, James Rhoten and wife, Jane Ann of Jacksboro; sister-in-laws, Margie K. Crow and Margie Ann Winstead; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins and special family, Tiny Manning.
Memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
A private funeral services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Tin Top Community Center Restoration Project, 606 Southland Weatherford, Texas 76086.
