Bryan “Big Daddy” Reid, 94, of Granbury, died Sunday evening, Nov. 4, 2012, in the local hospital.
Born March 15, 1918, in Walker County, Ala., he was a retired utility foreman, member of the Granbury Assembly of God Church, Moslah Shrine and he loved fishing, grandkids and sports.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lily Reid, and grandson, Bill Cooper.
Survivors include his two daughters, Elizabeth Cooper-Potts and husband, Robert, of Weatherford, and Peggy Walker and husband, Wayne, of Huntsville, Ala.; special friend, Pauline Partain; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Huntsville, Ala.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to the Third Floor Nursing Station at Weatherford Regional Medical Center.
