Roy Lynn Lynch

ALEDO – Roy Lynn Lynch, 68, lovingly referred to as “Popi,” died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at home.

Service is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Oak Ridge Church of Christ, 4895 E. I-20 Service Road North, Willow Park. Interment will be in Aledo-Brown Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

He was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Paducah. He lived most of his life in Aledo. Popi loved sports and changed many lives coaching. He was a loyal follower of Aledo High School football. He was passionate about his children, grandchildren and their sports games. He would attend three to four sporting events a week. The inspiration and support from his presence will forever be felt and remembered in their hearts.

Roy and Jan started Lynch Real Estate in 1974. He started subcontracting, and that led to their successful real estate business for 40 years. He would refer to all his agents as extended family. But his greatest love and passion was his wife, kids, grandkids and great-grandson.

Roy Lynn Lynch built houses, communities, businesses and a wonderful Christian family. He will be greatly missed and his legacy will live on forever.
