HENRIETTA – Ferne H. Driskill, 91, of Weatherford, Texas, died Feb. 17, 2013.
Graveside service was Feb. 19 in the Bluegrove Cemetery in Bluegrove, Texas, with Rev. Chris Dowd, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Henrietta, Texas, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.
Mrs. Driskill was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Kingsburg, Calif., to William Henry and Hazel Louella (Johnson) Anderson. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Weatherford. Mrs. Driskill worked for United Way as a volunteer coordinator.
Survivors include daughter, Gloria Moody, of Weatherford; three sons, George Driskill, of Fort Worth, Glenn Driskill, of Weatherford, and Gerald Driskill, of Alexander, Ark.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
