Crime of the week

The Parker County Crime Stoppers has issued the following Crime of the Week, and we need your help in solving this crime.

The Weatherford Police Department is currently investigating a criminal mischief involving a local business. On Sept. 20 at approximately 7:55 a.m., police officers responded to Weatherford Battery & Electric, located at the 300 block of York Avenue, in regards to unknown suspect(s) having thrown a brick through the business’s front window. The damage to the window was estimated to be approximately $1,000.

“It is important to area businesses to identify the suspects and stop this from happening in the future,” stated Interim Chief Greg Lance, “If anyone has any information about this crime, we encourage them to contact the authorities.”

A $1,000 reward will be paid for this information and you may remain anonymous.
