Community Education holds volleyball camp

WEATHERFORD —

The WISD Community Education program offered a summer Volleyball Camp for Girls in Grades 2-8 the week of June 25-28. Almost 90 young ladies participated in the camp where they learned such volleyball skills as serving, setting, and volleying the ball. The morning camp consisted of girls in grades two through five, while the sixth through eighth graders attended the afternoon session. ComEd is in the process of planning the Fall Volleyball League with registration information available the first week of August.

WISD-CommEd announces more Spring League winners
The WISD Community Education Volleyball League recently concluded its spring session. The league had record numbers in participation, with more teams joining the volleyball preparatory league from surrounding areas.
