Roo teams split with Paschal

—

Staff Report

Weatherford varsity basketball resumed district contests Tuesday, and split fortunes with Paschal. The Lady Roos jumped ahead early over the Lady Panthers and stayed that way, improving to 4-2 in District 3-5A play with a 74-42 win.

The WHS boys held the lead through low-scoring three quarters, but a high-scoring finish favored the Panthers, who won 42-40. WHS teams are at North Crowley on Friday.
