WEATHERFORD —

The Weatherford College baseball team enjoyed a productive weekend on the road, sweeping Lon Morris in Jacksonville, and beating Bossier Parrish in Shreveport.

On Saturday at Lon Morris, WC started with a 4-0 win, thanks to a complete game shutout by sophomore pitcher Zach Nuding. The Coyotes followed up that win with another to complete the sweep, a 9-2 victory with Nick Lee taking the win on the mound.

On Sunday, at Bossier Parrish, WC won 6-5.  Weatherford High School graduate Josh Easley earned the win.

The Coyotes (5-1) next travel to Midland for three games Friday and Saturday. Their next home game is Friday, February 19 against Western Texas.  The 9-inning game begins at 5 p.m. at Williams Ballpark.
