As reported earlier in the week, the Weatherford wrestling teams, to a wrestler, all qualified for the regional tournament, carrying away 19 medals from the the top three places in District 2-5A competition.
WHS also had three district champions, two of those from the girls’ team, in its first year of competition. The Weatherford wrestlers competed in the Region I tourney at Arlington Martin High School on Friday and Saturday. Results were not available at press time.
