DENTON – Avi T. Deshmukh, M.D., F.A.C.S., MBA, graduated with a master’s in Health Systems Management from Texas Woman’s University during winter commencement ceremonies held Dec. 14-15 in the Kitty Magee Arena, located in Pioneer Hall on TWU’s Denton campus.
TWU Chancellor Ann Stuart presided at each of the four ceremonies, which included graduates from the university’s Denton, Dallas and Houston centers.
Dr. Deshmukh, who is a member of the medical staff of Weatherford Regional Hospital, had an overall GPA of 3.92 and graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude.
He is a board-certified urologist and treats adult and pediatric urology patients.
Future plans of Dr. Deshmukh’s are to become a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and American College of Physician Executives (ACPE).
