A 79-year-old man riding a motorcycle on Interstate Highway 20 east of Lakeshore Drive in Hudson Oaks shortly before 10:30 a.m. was killed in a one-vehicle wreck.
Robert Sroczynski, of Benbrook, was traveling on a Harley Davidson Road King eastbound on the entrance ramp preparing to enter I-20 when, for an as yet unknown reason, he failed to negotiate the curve, striking the guardrail, Texas Highway Patrol Senior Trooper Dub Gillum said.
Sroczynski, who was ejected from his motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
He was reported to be wearing a helmet, Gillum said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death an accident from blunt force injuries due to motorcycle-fixed object collision.
