Siblings place in numerous categories at recent Breeding Sheep Show

The Weatherford FFA was well represented by Brooke and Dylan Chilcutt at the breeding sheep show held at the Fort Worth Livestock Show this weekend.

The siblings showed in both the open shows which allow entry of participants of any age in addition to the junior show that is held for school aged students.

Brooke Chilcutt’s results during the Open Breeding Sheep Show were fourth and fifth place Dorset Ewe Lambs, second place pair of Dorsets, third place Hampshire Ram, fourth and 10th place Hampshire Ewe lambs, third place pair of Hampshire Ewes, third and fifth place yearling Hampshire Ewes, second place Hampshire Flock, and second place pair of Hampshire sheep. Dylan placed third with his Suffolk Ewe Lamb.

The Junior Breeding sheep show followed the next day. Brooke’s results were fourth place Dorset Ewe Lamb, Reserve Champion Hampshire Ram, Reserve Champion Hampshire Ewe, and third place aged Hampshire Ewe. Dylan placed fourth with his Suffolk Ewe Lamb.
