ALEDO – Authorities said they have made an arrest in the “Aledo Grinch” case.
Dana Brock, 43, of Aledo, was arrested today at her home in the 100 block of Rim Rock in connection with a recent string of residential Christmas decoration thefts.
Officials said Brock's identity as a suspect in the case came as as a result of surveillance photographs and videos released to area media Tuesday.
Parker County sheriff’s investigators reportedly located Brock at her home early Wednesday morning and recovered several stolen Christmas decorations. Brock implicated herself in the thefts and an arrest warrant was issued. She was booked into the Parker County Jail pending arraignment.
Investigators also reportedly recovered stolen property related to other thefts.
“Going onto someone property at 3 am could have serious consequences and the outcome could be deadly,” said Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler.
