WISD partners with online surplus auction company

Weatherford ISD has partnered with an online surplus auction company to offer district surplus items for sale to the public.

Public Surplus hosts numerous online auctions ranging from school districts to city, state and federal government auctions.

Surplus items are defined as those things that are no longer necessary – or have been replaced – by the district. Some examples include surplus items such as computer equipment, televisions or even school buses.

Individuals interested in placing bids on surplus items must first register on the company’s website, www.publicsurplus.com. Once registered, perspective buyers may bid on those items for sale by WISD – or any other registered seller.

Weatherford ISD will continue to post surplus items for sale as they become available.

The direct link to Weatherford ISD’s surplus auction items is located on the top righthand side of the district’s website at www.weatherfordisd.com.
