PARKER COUNTY —
A Parker County woman was found dead from knife wounds in her home Thursday evening and her was car believed to be missing.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said her husband returned home in the 1600 block of Wildwood Trail, north of Weatherford, and found her.
The woman was identified as 47-year-old Linda Surginer Preston.
The sheriff’s office iss seeking “persons of interest” in connection with the homicide investigation, according to Fowler. No one was in custody as of Thursday evening.
The back door was reportedly found open and the car missing, according to the sheriff's office.
Family members gathered near the home Thursday evening, several crying and hugging shortly after receiving the news.
