Woman murdered, persons of interest sought

WEATHERFORD — A woman, believed to have been murdered with a knife, was found by her husband Thursday evening at her residence in the 1600 block of Wildwood Trail north of Weatherford, according to authorities.

No one was in custody and "persons of interest" were being sought, Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said late Thursday.

The woman's vehicle is missing, according to Fowler.

The woman was not being named by authorities late Thursday as all family members had not yet been notified.
