Cockerham-Nichols

Jill Marleigh Cockerham and Curtis W. Nichols were wed at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Brownstone Wedding Chapel in Weatherford. Rev. Gordon
Nelson officiated.
Jill, a resident of College Station, is the daughter of Mark and Lorna Cockerham of Granbury. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Carolyn Morse of
Weatherford and the late Billy and Beatrice Shirley.
Curt, a resident of Austin, is the son of Ron and Dianne Nichols of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Attending Jill as Maid of Honor was Stephanie Tougas of College Station, with bridesmaid Melanie Nichols of Houston, sister of the groom.
Serving as Curt¹s Best Man was Gary Kempf of Houston, with groomsman, Brad Cockerham of Lubbock, brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Gracie Ringo of Mineral Wells, cousin of the bride.
Ushers included Garrett Holt of Stephenville and Travis Prochaska of College Station.
Reception and dinner followed at the Brownstone Reception Hall hosted by the bride¹s parents.
Rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom¹s parents, was held at Reata in Fort Worth.
After a Caribbean honeymoon to St. Maarten, the couple will reside in Waco.
Jill earned a B.S. in Math from Texas A&M; University at College Station in 2007. She will complete her Master’s Degree from A&M; in May of 2009.
Curt graduated from West Point and is currently completing his PhD in the Department of Government at UT in Austin. He has a accepted an Assistant

Professor position at Baylor University in Waco for the upcoming school year.



Ruyle-Pena

Jason and Pam Decker of Weatherford, Texas are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Ashlea Judith-Marie Ruyle to Richard Anthony Pena.

Ashlea graduated from Tarleton State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is a third grade teacher at Springtown Elementary School. She is also the daughter of the late A.M. Scott Ruyle III of Fort Worth, Texas.

Richard graduated from Texas Christian University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Communication and a minor in psychology. He is a purchasing agent for R&L; Electric. Richard is the son of Richard L. and Betty Pena of Weatherford, Texas.

The couple married Nov. 1, 2008 in Weatherford.
