The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday Aug. 6 and Sunday Aug. 8.
Theft
Aug. 7, 600 W. Ball St, a complainant reported that between Aug. 4 and Aug. 7 unknown suspect(s) had stolen an X-Box game controller and several X-Box games from his residence.
Burglary of a Vehicle
Aug. 8, 300 Cherry St, a complainant reported that between midnight and 9 a.m. unknown suspect(s) had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole an Apple iPod
Credit Card Abuse
Aug. 7, 200 Adams Drive, an employee of Hibbett Sports reported that at approx 4 p.m. an unknown female suspect had attempted to make a large purchase on a credit card that was found to be invalid and possibly stolen. The suspect had left the scene prior to the arrival of the police.
Forgery
Aug. 6, 1800 S. Main St, an employee of Murphy USA reported that two unknown suspects had passed two counterfeit one hundred dollar bills to the business for small purchases.
Burglary of a Building
Aug. 9, 100 I-20 East, an employee of Woly Board Company reported that between 3 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. unknown suspect(s) had broken the front door of the business and entered without consent. The complainant reported that at the time of the incident he was unsure if any items were taken from the business.
Burglary of a Habitation
Aug. 6, 200 Jade Lane, a complainant reported that between Aug. 4 and Aug. 6 unknown suspect(s) had entered into an open garage without permission and stole a Schwinn electric scooter and fishing equipment.
Aug. 8, 2200 Brandy Drive, a complainant reported that between Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a residence without consent and stole a Samsung TV.
Assault
Aug. 7, S. Sloan St, a complainant reported that at approx 7:40 a.m., during an argument with her boyfriend she was assaulted when he shoved her causing her to fall into an appliance. The complainant reported minor injuries due the assault.
